We accidentally discovered Desert Princess Tennis Club on a trip to Palm Springs to attend the Indian Wells Tennis Tournament BNP Paribas Open. We rented a condo at the resort and immediately fell in love with the place.
The facility is magnificent, set in a tennis garden with nine Plexi Paved courts, four of which are lit including an exhibition court. Adjacent to it is a fitness center, spa and pro-shop.
Tennis director, Charlie Moore runs clinics several times a week and also matches up players.
The club also runs a strong junior program.
Bent grass greens and majestic views of the surrounding mountain ranges are some of what the course is popular for.The championship tees play up to 6,781 yards and the forward tees play at 5217 yards with wide fairways and large greens. A large clubhouse, pro shop and bar are popular stops at the end of the game.
Desert Princess also has a hotel on site which has access to the amenities of the condos.
