Playing tennis on grass is a special treat for us, so we felt very lucky when we came to the city of Adelaide in Australia and found this charming grass club that is open to visitors.
A great pre or post-Australian Open place to visit and play tennis on grass
Adelaide is a beautiful city a few hours drive from Melbourne, and also hosts some pre-grand slam tournaments.
When we were there, we visited the Sturt Lawn Tennis Club a beautifully kept grass tennis club.
Sturt Lawn Tennis Club also has a very nice clubhouse
Sturt Tennis Club has several courts that are very well-maintained and an active membership
The Tennis Club is in a classic and picturesque Adelaide suburb
