El Bolson, Argentina-Cancha Tenis
Tennis in The Andes Mountains
El Bolson, Argentina Cancha Tenis. We stumbled upon this place after asking a young boy hitting a tennis ball against his house if he could tell us where there were courts in town. With our little bit of Spanish, and his bits of English we managed to find out there was a thriving public court, one of the few we had found in this country.

The coach of the children’s program was heavily into a class when we arrived, but after giving us a traditional Argentine kiss on the cheek she told us we were welcome to play as soon as the kids were done. These kids were loving their tennis lessons, and we wouldn’t be surprised if some great young tennis players come from this village in the Andes.
