We were traveling down the coast and stopped at this historic hotel in Lorne and to our amazement found these wonderful tennis courts, two grass and two hard courts. 

Lorne Mantra has two grass courts and two hard courts that are steps away from the beach, as well as many other amenities.

Tennis and More at this Oceanside Resort with a History

The Mantra Lorne is Victoria’s oldest continually operating guesthouse. The resort dates back to the 1860s. Lorne Mantra is on 12 acres of land between Mountjoy Parade, the main street of Lorne, and the beach.

The Great Ocean Road

A breathtaking oceanside road stretching 240-kilometres 150 miles along the south-eastern coast of Australia. The road winds through different and dramatic terrain along the coast and features many prominent landmarks, including the Twelve Apostles limestone formations.

The Town of Lorne

Lorne is a scenic town on the Great Ocean Road of Australia. The town is known for its arts focus. It is also a popular spot for surfers. It is about a two hour drive from Melbourne in the state of Australia.
