Valparaiso Chile, Javiera Carrera Tennis Club. High above the stunning city of Valparaiso Chile, we found this club. It’s five clay courts are beautifully maintained and on the grounds is a swimming pool, and a beautiful old clubhouse.
We were welcomed as visitors and they even found guys to play with us. Rates for play were reasonable.

A jewel of a city that sits perched on the hills above this Pacific Ocean port. The street art of Valparaiso has attracted the eyes of those around the world. The city is full of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops.
Funiculars are one of the best ways to navigate and climb Valparaiso’s very steep hills. There are eight funiculars that run. Most were constructed in the 19th and early 29th century.
Colorful buildings and unique architecture are two things that draw visitors to Valparaiso.

We loved this boutique bed and breakfast. On one of Valparaiso’s most colorful streets,  Casa Kultour is very simple with shared bathrooms, colorful bedrooms and a communal dining table where travelers of every nationality share their stories of adventure in South America and beyond.
In one of Valpo’s trendiest neighborhoods, there are many places to eat, shop and drink nearby.
